Security Service of Ukraine Day!

Today, the Security Service of Ukraine celebrates its professional holiday!

The National Security Service of Ukraine was established after the Declaration of Independence on March 25, 1992 to protect the security of Ukraine, its citizens, and combat terrorism and economic crime.

The key areas of activity of the SBU are intelligence, counterintelligence, protection of national statehood, information security, and protection of state secrets.

The Security Service of Ukraine conducts operations to combat terrorism and drug trafficking, illegal migration both in our country and abroad, in close contact with Interpol and foreign law enforcement agencies.

During the war, the SBU, together with the military, protects our country from occupiers, regularly conducts successful operations to destroy enemies and strategic military facilities behind enemy lines.
